We don't believe in freedom anymore. We believe in entitlement. Why should I be forced to pay my mortgage or fill up my own gas tank? That should be government's job.

We really need to fight our own battles. As much as I don't like the concept of a draft, somehow when people are fighting and dying that needs to effect all our social strata especially the ruling class.

I guess it is inevitable though because I believe that true patriots should stop joining our military. We can't afford good men and women dying as we really need them here at home participating in their communities and raising children. The burden of battle has been placed to disproportionately upon the honorable. That's fine when the honorable is in service of the honorable. But it is not fine under this Commander in Chief (or perhaps even the the last) who doesn't value their contribution and treats their lives like Congress treats tax money.

We need them at home. We need them to raise families and prepare their families for better days.

Right now the best patriot is the one who stops acting "patriotic". It is time to hunker down and protect ourselves and the ones around us as everything caves in. For there will come a time to rebuild and good people need to be around to do that.

I was no fan of Bush but making movies about killing him was way, way over the line.

I say I am going to show Obama the same respect you showed Bush, but in truth no, as low as I will go, I will not even come close to as low as your side did. As much as I think it is in me, it's not.

But your side can't ask for any of the traditional respect that used to be owed to a President. I will not allow you to have your cake and eat it too. You booed Bush when he was leaving office. If you wanted bipartisanship then would have been the time. I hated Bush in ways you could never do, but I will never forget how you treated him. Don't you dare say I am not treating a US President with proper respect. You broke all those "unwritten rules", you set the precedent, you don't get to set it back. It is anything goes time. Well almost, but only because I just can't go as low as you.

Obama is taking away freedom. To wish that an individual is successful in taking away our freedom isn't a right thing for an American to do.

What you are saying like you want to see Hitler succeed (if you were a German back then) because after all what is good for Hitler is good for Germany.

The most patriotic thing right now is not to be patriot. Sorry, I will not be a "Good American" in the sense so many were "Good Germans".

By the way, as much as it seemed he was running for President of the world, and as much as you Jews are able to buy off our political leaders, he really isn't YOUR president. He is supposed to be the President of the United States. Not President of the World. Not President of Israel.
