Apparently Obama's no longer a Muslim; he's a Nazi

I’ve officially received the “Vote McCain because Obama will cause a second Holocaust e-mail”. Here’s a full copy of it for us to laugh, dissect, and generally scoff at:

Lori Kalner is a holocaust survivor whose true story is told in Bodie Thoene¢s Zion Covenant book series. If you think this election doesn’t matter, read this and then think again.

Last night, I found that the original YouTube of the children singing for Obama has been made private, but I found it online, and I have downloaded it.

HYMN TO HITLER

Hymn to Hitler

by

Lori Kalner

In Germany, when Hitler came to power, it was a time of terrible financial depression. Money was worth nothing. In Germany people lost homes and jobs, just like in the American Depression in the 1930s, which we have read about in Thoene’s Shiloh books.

In those days, in my homeland, Adolph Hitler was elected to power by promising “Change..”

He blamed the “Zionists” around the world for all our problems. He told everyone it was greedy Zionist Bankers who had caused every problem we had. He promised when he was leader, the greedy Zionist bankers would be punished. The Zionists, he promised, would be wiped off the face of the earth.

So Hitler was elected to power by only 1/3 the popular vote. A coalition of other political parties in parliament made him supreme leader. Then, when he was leader, he disgraced and expelled everyone in parliament who did not go along with him.

Yes. Change came to my homeland as the new leader promised it would.

The teachers in German schools began to teach the children to sing songs in praise of Hitler. This was the beginning of the Hitler Youth movement. It began with praise of the Fuhrer’s programs on the lips of innocent children. Hymns in praise of Hitler and his programs were being sung in the schoolrooms and in the play yard. Little girls and boys joined hands and sang these songs as they walked home from school.

My brother came home and told Papa what was happening at school. The political hymns of children proclaimed Change was coming to our homeland and the Fuhrer was a leader we could trust.

I will never forget my father’s face. Grief and fear. He knew that the best propaganda of the Nazis was song on the lips of little children.

That evening before he said grace at the dinner table, he placed his hands upon the heads of my brothers and me and prayed the Living Word upon us from Jeremiah 1:4-5.

‘Now the Word of the Lord came to me, saying,

“Before I formed you in the

womb I knew you,

and before you were born I

consecrated you;

I appointed you a prophet to

The nations.”

Soon the children’s songs praising the Fuhrer were heard everywhere on the streets and over the radio. “With our Fuhrer to lead us, we can do it! We can change the world!”

Soon after that Papa, a pastor, was turned away from visiting elderly parishioners in hospitals. The people he had come to bring comfort of God’s Word, were “no longer there.”

Where had they vanished to while under nationalized health care? It became an open secret. The elderly and sick began to disappear from hospitals feet first as “mercy killing” became the policy. Children with disabilities and those who had Down syndrome were euthanized.

People whispered, “Maybe it is better for them now. Put them out of misery. They are no longer suffering. And, of course, their death is better for the treasury of our nation. Our taxes no longer must be spent to care for such a burden.”

And so murder was called mercy.

The government took over private business. Industry and health care were “nationalized.” (NA-ZI means National Socialist Party) The businesses of all Jews were seized. (Perhaps you remember our story in Berlin on Krystalnacht in the book Munich Signature)

The world and God’s word were turned upside down. Hitler promised the people economic Change?

Not change. It was, rather, Lucifer’s very ancient Delusion leading to Destruction.

What began with the propaganda of children singing a catchy tune ended in the deaths of millions of children. The reality of what came upon us is so horrible that you in this present generation cannot imagine it.

Our suffering is too great to ever tell in a book or show in a black and white newsreel.

When I spoke to Bodie about some of these things, she wept and said she could not bear to write them. Perhaps one day she will, but I asked her, “who could bear to read our suffering?”

Yet with my last breaths I warn every Christian and Jew now in the name of the Lord,

Unless your course of the church in America is spiritually changed now, returning to the Lord, there are new horrors yet to come.

I trembled last night when I heard the voices of American children raised in song, praising the name of Obama, the charismatic fellow who claims he is the American Messiah.

Yet I have heard what this man Obama says about abortion and the “mercy killing” of tiny babies who are not wanted.

There are so few of us left to warn you.

I have heard that there are 69 million Catholics in America and 70 million Evangelical Christians.

Where are your voices? Where is your outrage? Where is passion and your vote?

Do you vote based on an abortionist’s empty promises and economics? Or do you vote according to the Bible?

Thus says the Lord about every living child still in the womb.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,

and before you were born I consecrated you.”

I have experienced the signs of the politics of Death in my youth.

I see them again now.

Christians! Unless you stand up now, you will lose your freedom of religion.

In America priests and preachers have already lost their freedom to speak openly from their pulpits of moral danger in political candidates. They cannot legally instruct you of which candidate holds fast to the precepts of scripture! American law forbids this freedom of speech to conservative pastors or they will lose their “tax exempt” status.

And yet I have heard the words of Obama’s pastor Damning America! I have heard the words of Obama damning and mocking all of you in small towns because you “Cling to your religion.”

But I am a woman whose name is unknown. My life is recorded as a work of fiction. I have no fear of reprisal when I speak truth to you from the pages of a book. (Though the Zion Covenant books are mocked and condemned by the Left in America.)

I am an old woman and will soon go to be with my Lord. I have no fear for myself, but for all of you and for your children, I tremble.

I tremble at the hymns to a political leaders which your children will sing at school. (Though even now a hymn or a prayer to God and our Lord Jesus is against the law in public school!)

Your vote must put a stop to what will come upon America if Barrack Obama is elected.

I pray you will personally heed this warning for the sake of your children and your grandchildren. Do not be deceived.

The Lord in Jeremiah 1:7-8 commands every believer to speak up!

“Do not say, ‘I am only a youth,’ for to all whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them for I am with you, declares the Lord!”

I am in Prayer for you, and for the Church!

Spoken to you in the authority of Jesus the Christ,

the Name Above All Names,

Lori Kalner

That Really makes me laugh to think people are this dumb!!!!!

  2. BelovedSword says:

I am not sure why the memories and warnings of an elderly women, a Holocaust survivor at that, is particularly funny to you. You may not agree with her, you may discount her thoughts as irrational, you may even simply ambivalently ignore her. But, to laugh or scorn her because she fears history that she has lived through will be repeated is not only the height of disrespect, but foolish. If nothing else, receive her words with the genuine concern and love with which they were given to you. Peace.

  3. Ms. Missive says:

    @ Beloved Sword

Actually, it’s not the WOMAN we’re laughing at… it’s the complete disregard for logic. Comparing Obama to a Nazi is the most assassin thing I’ve heard to date and this letter is only circulating to instill fear in people.

If you have to resurrect Hitler to bolster your argument, then you have nothing further to add of current value. It is an emotional “gotcha’” that means in reality, I have nothing more to offer to defend my central thesis. If we were debating, which we are, you would lose on this point.

  4. BelovedSword says:

Ms Missive, You deceive yourself. You comfort yourself with self-congratualating words that you are not attacking this woman but only her logic…as if they are somehow separable. “That Really makes me laugh to think people are this dumb!!!!!” as quoted from Jason, also belies your argument. You ARE diminishing and belittling the wisdom of a woman who speaks from experience, whether you care to label yourself in such a way or not. You do not share her experiences…do not toss them away so off-handedly.

In addition, I didn’t realize I was arguing anything except for more respectful treatment of a woman with more experience in her pinkie than you have in your entire American life. As much as I love a good debate, this was not intended to be one, merely a point to consider.

As for comparing THE ACTIONS of Barack Obama to Hitler’s, why do you turn away from it? Do you fear to see similarities in behaviors and attitudes? No one has come close to saying the Mr. Obama will kill 6 million people, that he is Hitler reincarnated. If Mr. Obama’s behaviors don’t give you pause, then you should simply state so. If you don’t believe his behaviors are similar, simply state so (remember to add the 250,000 citizen watch group he has just added to his list of ideas he wishes to implement). Ms. Kalner has compared similarities in behaviors between the two as well as, and more importantly, the populace that did/does nothing to stand up against it. You may refuse to engage in such a lesson in comparisons on the grounds that it is an “emotional gotcha,” but your refusal is notably void of reason. (I also do apologize, but I could not find your “central thesis” anywhere..this may be because I cannot navigate well or because you have poorly communicated it.) In addition, declaring yourself a “winner” doesn’t make you one, except of course to yourself which only feeds the ego for so long.

PS-I assume you meant “asinine” not “assassin”…though it could be a good play on words.

    Peace. Truly ;-)

  5. Ms. Missive says:

Ok. First of all, I wouldn’t for a second belittle that woman’s experience. I am a friend of Israel and of Jews all over the world. I am eternally sympathetic with their history and vow never to allow the atrocities of the Holocaust to happen again.

Secondly, I am not void of experience even though I am an American. I too know what the horrors of war are (as a war veteran of the Iraq war) and I also intimately know the experiences of Israel and the Jews (having lived in Israel recently for 6 months).

Third, the letter written above by Ms. Kalner makes no valid comparison between Obama and Hitler although many people believe what she’s saying. She’s really only making a comparison between children who sang for Hitler and children who sing for Obama. It really just comes down to a memory she had of when the Nazi’s came to power that was triggered by children singing for Obama. But is that really a valid comparison between Hitler and Obama? I find it flimsy and irresponsible to take a memory like that attach it to a man who is far more peaceful in his politics than John McCain.

To take what she is saying as a serious and legitimate argument against Barack Obama is logically irresponsible. It simply doesn’t make sense if you look at the facts. I know it may take a little effort to understand the truth (because I know how easy it is just expect things people write without considering the facts), check out the nonpartisan, nonprofit http://www.factcheck.org

  6. Maria says:

Ms. Dismissive, She did show the similarities. Obama believes in socialized, nationalized medical care, abortion on demand, voted a number of times against the Born Alive Infant Act, wants to change this country through a fluid understanding of the constitution by judges who want to make laws as opposed to using the constitution as a guide. He signed a financial agreement with John McCain not to take private funds but went back on this agreement. He pretends to come from a poorer background with “not much” at his disposal yet his grandmother was a bank president in Hawaii for many years where he attended an exclusive prep school. His campaign banned reporters from traveling with him when their editorial boards endorsed John McCain. He does not really believe in free speech if he allows this to happen.

Don’t forget that when you agree to a government that is large enough to give us all we need, it is also large enough to take it all.

Open your eyes, it is no surprise. (PS, He is not the first man of color to run for president. Alan Keyes ran in 2004 and now. He sadly is too conservative for the public, but I voted for him and respect him greatly.)

  7. Ms. Missive says:

    @ Maria

So, socialized medicine is akin to Nazis? Are we calling the Canadians and Brits Nazi’s now? Both countries have demonstrated phenomenal nationalized health care system under that scary term “socialization” even though, I must say, Obama DOES NOT say he’ll enact if made President. As for being pro-life (or as you call it, “abortion on demand”) then most Democrats must be Nazis since most Democrats are pro-life.

It’s taking the facts and stretching them to almost unrecognizable forms that I find repulsive.

My eyes are open, thank you very much.

  8. Skitz M. Jones says:

I can’t help but get the feeling this is turning into the 2nd coming of the “Hummers pros and cons” thread from some months ago (check our site history for that debacle). In other words, we have two parties that are never going to agree to any points made by the other side in the arguement. I stayed out of the last one, and will likely regret saying anything in this one… but allow me this anyway.

Socialized medicine- Obama believes in it, so does Hillary Clinton, and many other politicians in America. And it’s currently functioning in countries like Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Panama, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Brunei, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Thailand. That doesn’t make them Nazi countries. Abortion seems to be a big issue with you, and I know that people who feel strongly about abortion are going to hold their stance regardless of what is said about it, so I’m not even going to mention it aside from saying I was unaware that Hitler was pro-choice, I’d be interested to read more about that.

We could make comparisons between Hitler and McCain too, hell, I’m sure I could find comparisons between Hitler and anyone, we’re all human after all with flaws and positive attributes, no matter how good or bad the person. But I’m not running for President, so I’ll stick to finding likenesses between Hitler and McCain, not to infer that McCain is a Nazi, I truly don’t believe he is, but just to show that comparisons like that can be made…

Both were war heroes in their respective countries. Both married former models. Both had certain resentments against their fathers (but then again, what son doesn’t?). Both were rather uninspired students in their youth. Both insist(ed) that their political careers are/were about Country First, with nationalism/patriotism as a main talking point. Both judge the wars of their time based on “lost wars” of their pasts. Both elected secondaries who are seen as having been detrimental to their runs for office due to increased zealotry and the view that they were running more for themselves than for their running mates. Hitler was also anti-gay, pro-family, and has had questions raised about his health during his time in power, much like McCain. Both touted themselves as mavericks who weren’t afraid to fight against even their own party.

I could go on and on. But here’s the important part- I don’t think McCain is a Nazi or a new-age Hitler. I don’t think Obama is either. They’re both men running for the most powerful important office in the world. And at a time when there is much at stake for our country, following a period of 8 years that have seen the Executive Branch given more free reign and more unchecked authority than ever before. Some think Obama could be the most dangerous man in the race. Some think McCain being elected could spell the end of the world as we know it.

But that’s actually the biggest problem, no matter who is elected, that man will be the President, and these politics of fear tactics being played upon by followers of each party will do no one any favors when the final votes are counted. Playing on reactionism destroys our ability as a country to work together within our own system for the improvement of our lot. Bipartisanship is dangerous, and we’ve all been taken by it.

  9. Dr. H. Sunderwald says:

I too received a well-meaning e-mail forward re the Hitler-Obama comparison (although disguised as merely “something to think about”). As a German, who lost home and childhood because of the Nazis, my “gut” reaction was to be appalled by such insinuations.

Sure, there are things in Obama’s views I don’t agree with, just as there are in McCain’s. But that does not give me the right to play on people’s fears – nor does it justify anyone to turn off their thinking capacity and resort to naive catch phrases.

I am, however, very glad that there are people like Skitz M. Jones who can counter this kind of doom-mongering with such level-headed assessment (to the point and without spelling mistakes, too!). Thank you, Skitz!

  10. Fiction Fan says:

Lori Kalner is a fictional character in a series of well-written novels by Brock and Bodie Thoene. I quote from the author Bodie Thoene, “With the exception of recognized historical figures, the characters in this novel are fictional . . .” (on the title page of Warsaw Requiem)

Likewise, some of the details about Hitler (a real war criminal) are mistaken.

Finally, any similarity of President-Elect Obama to Adolf Hitler is fiction and unconvincing fiction at that.

  11. Ms. Missive says:

Fiction never sounded so good. Thanks Fiction Fan!

  12. deedee says:

actually Lori Kalner IS a real life person who Bodie Thoene still corresponds with. Her real name is unknown for her privacy and safety reasons.

it is now Aug 2009- the new health care reform on the agenda with Obama is causing concern. One section states that anyone on Social Security (the aged) will be required, that’s MANDATORY, to have counselling every 5 years on how to end their life. Slowly Obama is creating a society where it’s ok to rid the population (for economic purposes ofcourse) of the elderly, the weak, the unwanted. He has also asked that the public keep tabs on anyone they know who opposes his government and so the lists shrink cuz people are to blind or chicken to speak! sounds like Nazi Germany to me! AND everyone thought Hitler was the cat’s meow when he first came to power promising economic success when Germany was in dire need of moral uplifting. Only now do we know him as the monster he was.

The health care reform also will make it mandatory for all hospitals to provide abortion services even if it’s a Christian hospital. All insurance companies will have to pay for abortions. Government funded abortions are funded by the American tax payers dollars whether they are prolife or prochoice.

    • admin says:

With all due respect, you’re insane to want to withhold universal health care to all of America’s citizens. You’re also highly ignorant to believe the scare tactic propaganda of the “death panels”… a term created by ultra right wing loonies to keep progress at bay. Congratulations for falling for the biggest lie and scare tactic to date.

As for all the other bullshit you’ve just spilled onto my website’s pages, it’s simply a continuation of your ignorant drivel.

I’m leaving your comment posted for everyone to see how ridiculous some people are.

      • deedee says:

Thanks for leaving it on here so when what i am saying is proven right i will have prove to show you and say I told you so. then again, you won’t have to worry cuz you won’t be harmed by the new government, they will love you, you follow along behind them blindly.

  13. deedee says:

oh and i have no problem with universal health care for all, i have a problem with my dollars paying for the murder of the unborn.

    • ZiaBlues says:

The “death panels” refered to were the government panels who will direct government health care and decide what is covered and what isn’t, NOT the MD (note: singular) who would be paid to counsel their old/sick patient on end of life decisions. This is another example of the radical left bastardizing someones statements. If folks actually paid attention to what is said, instead of going ballistic and extrapolating, they would, if honest, realize the above truth. This was simply another attempt to marginalize someone they disagreed with. Very low handed and dishonest. Therefore, I disregarded the blather. Facts are facts, even if they are inconvenient no matter which side is trying to avoid them. Besides, Doctors counsel families now, and it is included in their care/fee. I have been through it twice with elderly relatives.
