   Ya, a favorite blog of mine tracelesswarrior.blogspot.com points out that it's a way of using smoke and mirrors to distract from the issues. We're too busy focusing on the Republican runningmate to even focus on the issue and McCains's platform.. or if he's been changing up on issues since his last run for office.

   I think once the major debates start (the first one being on Sept. 26th), we'll start seeing a little more diversification of politics. But the rest of the world's news will have to wait until the elections are over. The American people are a little obsessed over the candidates right now. I don't think it's necessarily that the media is trying to "cover up" other news stories, they're simply giving the people what they want.
