I’m guessing it’ll be less than 48 3 hours before scandals or scrutinies (real or imaginary) of Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Biden are jammed into our faces.
Here are three I guarantee will come out of the gates early:
- Military service record: At the height of the Vietnam war in 1968, Biden was prime for the draft at 26 years old but was rejected for “medical reasons“. I’m sure details of his rejection will become clearer in the following weeks. It should be noted that his son, Beau Biden, has orders to deploy to Iraq on October 3rd, 2008 with his Delaware National Guard JAG unit. Will his son bring a balance for the senior Biden’s lack of military record?
- Biden supported the Bush Administration post 9/11and voted in favor of the Iraq invasion. Flip-flopping. Our favorite campaign hyphenation.
- In 1988, Bidden was caught plagiarizing several lines from the speech of Neil Kinnock, then British Labor party leader.

1) In his primary debate Biden said that Obama was too inexperienced; and the Presidency wasn't a place for "on the job training". (which is true)
2) Biden insulted Indian-Americans by his 7-11 remark.
3) he called Obama the first African American candidate who was clean and articulate

Biden, when his plagiarizing was investigated, was shown to have plagiarized key work in graduate school (I don't recall if it was a thesis or a dissertation).
Apparently, plagiarism isn't a problem in the eyes of a man who sits on the ethics committee and attacks the ethics of others constantly.

Wow - what an amazing job of research you've done to uncover this! I didn't realize that Joe Biden was so scandalous!!!
Diggin' REAL deep, ain't ya? I mean, the man is just COMPLETELY tarnished by your revelations! He might as well step down from the Senate!
I must admit , I, too, am scandalous! I left the toilet lid up this morning!
If you tried this same approach with Bush, McCain, or even Palin, you'd be up to your waist in a jack-flat second!

Thank you for your bleeding sarcasm but please note that this was posted LITERALLY an hour after Biden was announced as Obama's VP. I wasn't trying to break him, I was simply posting facts immediately after he was chosen.
I realize that since then, everyone and their pet chihuahua knows everything about this man (including if he left the toilet seat up this morning, or not) and have disregarded the three concerns I have listed here as old news.
