Cause it’s common knowledge Israeli’s pee in the pool.
The first lane of the 100 meter breaststroke competition was eerily empty as the Iranian competitor refused to compete because an Israeli athlete was swimming 6 lanes away. Good riddance to you, Iran. More Olympic glory for us.
Mohammed Alirezaei forfeited his chance to fight for an Olympic medal after being drawn to compete against the Israeli swimmer, Tom Beeri.
This mirrors exactly what Alirezaei’s teammate did in July during qualifications in Croatia.
No wager that the Olympic committee takes any action against this. They already give a blind eye to the Arab countries who refuse to allow female athletes to compete for them.

Funny. That's one of those "disses" where you have to wonder
1- did the nation MAKE the competitors "refuse"?
2- Do they realize they're only screwing themselves over? It's like when a rude and angry customer says "well, I'll never shop HERE again." Really? Oh no, you'll never come back again and grace us with your presence? *yawn*
haha. I just don't get why that proves anything.

For once I am glad to see the IOC keeping its mouth shut: these
atheltes - or their coutnries- are their own worst enemies. They
want to cutoff their noses (or their chances for any sort of
Olympic showing) to spite their faces? FINE! "Gee, I guess I'll
just have to cope with having one less competitor, as well as
handle the knowledge that I control you in an *international
venue*!" As I have always said (even in another comment on
your blog just today): BIGOTS ARE STUPID!
