    I've been told before that some people have not received their payments according to the IRS schedule (although a vast majority have).

    My brother is also one of the unlucky folks who is still waiting for his (and he was supposed to get his on 2nd). After calling the IRS, he was told that there wasn't a problem and should expect it within a few weeks.

    Here's a quote directly from the IRS website:

    "A small percentage of tax returns will require additional time to process and to compute a stimulus payment amount. For these returns, stimulus payments may not be issued in accordance with the schedule above, even if the tax return was processed by April 15.

    According to the IRS schedule, my stimulus check should have been in my checking account on MAY 16th. This is May 17th , and its still not in there.
