Really China… what are you trying to do to us?

In a new shocking turn of events toys manufactured in China have been turned away from U.S. and Australian retail outlets. Oh wait. That’s nothing new. Except… it’s not for lead.

Millions of Chinese-made children’s toys have been pulled from shelves in North America and Australia after scientists found it contained a chemical that converts into a powerful ”date rape” drug when swallowed.

Scientists say the beads contain a chemical that the human body metabolizes into the so-called date rape drug GHB.

So first our kids are being poisoned with lead… I don’t even want to know what it is they’re trying to do to them now.

Jesus H. Christ. There is just no explanation for this at all. Who manufactured this toy? Who imported it? The Chinese have some splanin' to do, but so do their American counterparts. THIS is the price of late-stage capitilist outsourcing.

What happens when you outsource your jobs to people who will work for slave wages for $100 Alex…um…pay cheap, get cheap toys with all sorts of cheap (and dangerous) crap so you can make an extra 100 billion this year!!! Woohoo!!! Note the sarcasm.
Why don't these American companies have guidelines/standards for the manufacturing of their products???
