Shouldn’t you be, like, running the country or something?
President Bush, breaking his rule not to talk about presidential politics, says he believes Hillary Rodham Clinton will defeat Barack Obama in the Democratic presidential primaries. Bush also predicts that Clinton will be defeated in the general election by the Republican nominee.
It has been difficult for Bush to remain silent about the 2008 president race, despite his promises not to be the “prognosticator in chief.” He has been talking about the race and handicapping candidates during off-the-record chats with visitors to the White House.
Apparently, it’s been difficult for Bush to do a lot of things. Like speak to the American public honestly or come up with a decent Iraq plan. But, what the hell. Sway the American voters with your shady gossiping. Don’t worry. America will run itself while you’re busy contemplating your successor. In fact, it might be better off that way.

Gotta wonder if maybe people will vote against Hillary just because Bush predicted she will win. Of course- then you have to wonder if it's his plan to make that happen. But then you have to remember that it's Bush we're talking about- and he doesn't really have a good track record with well thought-out plans.
